Emma Malaver, 35 years old, with three of her nine children. From 7.30 am until 1 pm Emma attends college and is about to finalize her second year. To prepare classes, Emma gets up at 3 o’clock at night, the only time when she is able to study in silence. Her husband supports her studies by taking care of the children in the afternoons and preparing their lunches while Emma is busy with women’s work: doing the laundry and cultivating vegetables. Her long and busy day usually ends around 8 pm.
